Hi Tracy,

I've got this publication on my desk, but any infos You can find in the below publisher link :

http://kagero.pl/product_info.php?produ ... rrency=EUR

As You recognize info about that book is allready sold out, but don't worry I think will be comeback to the market very soon.

Short description what is inside: a lot of renderings 3D with views of NC in 1945 ( I think ....) but there are a lot of mistakes like for ex: wooden deck........... without Deck Blue painting ??? Strange .
Inside You can find also a few photos and one general view with scale 1:350, not so detailed :heh:
Interesting for You and other modelers is text - all is in English, I didn't find out any word in Polish language :heh: :rolf_3:

When I click in the website for language option I discovered something strange : in English the price is 18 Euros but in Polish option is a 100 pln = 28 Euro ........... :lol_pound:

Best Regards

I wish I could remember the publisher or authors (although they were eastern european). I saw a new book on North Carolina today, titled something to the affect of "North Carolina 3D." I woul dpass this book by unless you are offered one very cheaply as it offers inaccurate renderings of the ship (few photos, mostly digital renderings) and inaccurate information.

I'm not a North Carolina expert but I helped Ron Smith research her for a couple of projects, so I'm no newbie either. I didn't feel like spending money on the thing so I can't give you a page-by-page breakdown, but I noted several mistakes in the renderings in areas such as watertight hatches, portholes, and general ship fittings such as acetylene bottles and vent openings.

I tried to find the book online to give the exact title but have thus far failed... if anyhone knows which book I speak of, I'd appreciate it.
