I loose a little money each month but I'm each wednesday at home , stretching my toes , modelling ships ...

Hmmmm ?

well , yes , when the CIC is at home on wednesday , I cook , I wash the dishes , I go to that :censored_2: mall , I fix everything in the home , the only thing she says then , is : "doooodiiiissssss , dooooodaaaaaaa ..."

Women :mad_2:

Laurent

Hi all ,

I applied Peter's trick to my "Zinnia" monkey bridge

the differences with his work are that I soldered my stanchions on the rails & I used kitchen aluminium foil instead of silk paper . Peter supplied me with stanchions & other parts of an outstanding quality :woo_hoo:

the foil has been glued on the railing with CA glue , the whole being painted with paint from the same spray cans I used for the rest of the ship ...

here the pictures :

Thanks for the explanations , Peter .

I'm on leave tomorrow , I know what I'll have to do , snuffing & shopping in "women" shops ... :yeah:

Hallo Peter ,

nice work , indeed .

you glue your stanchions with CA glue , is it to avoid soldering or does soldering not work/stick on your stanchions ?

If I got it right , you apply the white glue solution on the outside , or is it on the inside ( or even both sides ) ?

That silk paper , where did you get it ( paper shop ? one of those patchwork/hobby women shop ? )

Thanks for this tip .

Regards ,

Laurent
