Far too late for the deadline, but hopefully better late than never, here are the photos of my 1/300 scale Rudderow-class DE (USS DeLong) built from the approximately 1/300 scale Lindberg kit.

I used a lot of scratchbuilding work and spares-box parts to detail and correct the Lindberg kit, including scratchbuilding the forward Hedgehog launcher (the kit doesn't include one) and replacing the gun splinter shields and amidships splash shields with thin styrene sheet. Railings are Lion Roar, I used various other bits of WEM and GMM 1/350 PE to detail the AA guns.

Please welcome HMT Kirkella. 1/700 semi-scratch built. Base is some HP armed trawler kit (...forgot which one, tough!)
Totally cool and inspiring! :cool_1:

Excellent as usual! :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

So what's the next GB? C'mon, give me some feedback! Any ideas for improvements? Since these seem to be popular why not continue...oh wait I just thought of a fun one.....

While we are already way past the deadline, I still thought of adding my most recent finished kit:
Introducing HMS Clematis, gentlemen! She's based on WEM's 700th HMS Bluebell with minor kit bashing with WEM's HMS Buttercup.
There are a few smaller bits to be added, but you won't see it from here!
Hope you like it!

Hi All:

I know I just missed the Cruiser group build. Does a CG-58 Premium Edition count? I just got into ships and I am having a blast. I am working on a carrier and waiting for decals so I just cracked the bags on this one. It looks really kool! After all it is an escort. Will be getting DDG's soon too. :woo_hoo:

Here's my entry. Sorry for being so tardy, and its actually an American PGM-18, not a Japanese patrol boat that I wanted to build. Too many great new kits sidetracked my intended build. Oh well, better late than never. :heh:

This is the excellent LooseCannon kit:

This is a class I thought might be a good subject to scratchbuild in 1/144, given the wide selection of planes available in this scale, until I did the calculations and found that it'd still be well over a metre long. It'd make a great 1/350 subject, though...

I'll post some photos of my Rudderow-class DE in a few days - unfortunately I didn't get round to photographing it before the deadline, but it was completed over a week before so hopefully still counts!
No problem EP! :thumbs_up_1:

I never finished MY build...oops! :doh_1: :Oops_1: :sorry:
