I'll try and find other pictures of that class of minesweeper and see what is missing. Maybe we can find some of it and put it back on the ship.

Got to thinking, you should be able when in the album itself to double click and enlarge somewhat, but I'd be glad to send them to anyone. I use a couple of photo programs online, but other than yahoo groups pages, the others don't let you look at them that large either. I could put a bunch up on a yahoo groups page I have, but it is like this site and you have to sign in and register to see. If any would rather do it that way, let me know.

I only took pics of the exterior and the only place that I couldn't get to was the Pilot House Top. The access was padlocked shut.

Carl, great shots. If you have time, please put them up on the facebook page for Freedom park. You have several of areas that aren't up there yet. I'll try uploading some pictures here, but don't know if they come up as full size or not. I'll put one up to see what happens. Any that would like any of what I put up today on the Freedom Park page, let me have an email address and I'll send them along.
Bill,
I don't do Facebook but, you are more than welcome to borrow the pics from my photobucket.com page and insert them in your site.

Did you get my PM, to you?

Just got back in town, so will put the pictures on my computer, then I'll put them up on facebook later tonight or tomorrow; then you guys can tell me which you want, so I don't sent too many. I also took a bunch of the guns and close up so you could see the details of the controls and parts of the guns. I'll also put them up and if you need any of that let me know. I know nothing about modeling so don't know what you have available as for plans, but I brought home with me some of the general plans and also some of the books on maintaining the guns which have dimensions listed.
One question, got a message from NukeMM, but couldn't find a reply button on the message page. Can someone tell me how to reply so the previous message is shown.
Thanks,
Bill

At any time, someone wanting a tour can contact me at sub_ssn589@yahoo.com or call 402-444-5955 and ask to have a tour set up. Give us a few days notice and we'll meet you down there.
I also will be glad to take pictures of specific areas that you might need. I'll be there this coming Saturday, the 13th and will be taking some close up pictures of the guns on the Hazard for a guy down in Kansas. Saw someone wanted some pictures of the bridge. Let me know what parts and so forth and I'll take them.
There is a facebook page for Freedom Park at http://facebook.com/FREEDOMPARK that has a couple of albums of pictures of the Hazard. I'll be adding more to those albums.
So any particular pictures someone might want, just let me know.
Please sign in as a fan when going to the facebook site. This helps us with numbers when applying for grants.
Also, of course anyone wanting to is very welcome to become a volunteer at the park. Just drop me a note and I'll get you the information.

thanks dave.... redoing the paint took me 2 days to take it all down... and then 2 more to paint (had to let paint set for 24hrs) but it was well worth it... i added new weld lines... and corrected some errors in my old paint job

Yep, that's the Lindberg kit. It takes a lot of work to correct it. I know, I've been working on one for too long.
