@ Dave: do you have additional photos of Daring? Especially showing details on deck?

I saw her myself, but could photograph only from the Historic Dockyard (near M 33) and from the boat of the harbour tour:

Hi Roel Yes it was an assignment for the magazine .An Unusual and large ship, the bridge was a cross between that on the QM2 and the Starship Enterprise .The following day was clear blue skys . No two days are ever the same in NW England.

Looks like that pyrmaid-like building in San Francisco.

Man, I just hope newer USN destroyers had that and without the wierd looking bow (I'm talking about DDG-1000...).....
