An update!!! Well, a little ....
My efforts are focused on the rear superstructure of USS Buchanan. I almost finished the port side.
The grid panel at the back is temporarily glued, just like the fire / water hose.
Missing depth charge launchers are missing.
It also lacks a box under the 40mm platform.
They will be painted separately.

And I second your statement on Piotr of MASTER. I have the cutest set of pompom barrels (old style) for my model!

Then I sent him a project even crazier: the grenades of 300lbs and 600lbs in 1/350.
As he could not turn them into a 1 part, he turned into 3 parts!

Hello everyone
I must confess that I could not work on my models for 6 months.
However, this did not remain at a standstill. I had planned to run a number of brass parts.
I started with the "oil vents." On Tunisien, I found three types.

To 1 / 350, they are pieces of very fine, so I asked Piotr Czerkasow society "Master" to turn these pieces. It has very kindly agreed.

His work is incredible.

Hello all
So, I started the rear of the superstructure of Tunisien.
First, I scratchbuild the structure by cutting in profile of Evergreen the floor and ceiling.

Then I glued sections of 5mm between the two in order to obtain the desired height.

Then, I cut the bridge in the sheet copper.

It is necessary that the bridge fits perfectly with the structure.

Then I started dressing in sheet copper. I must scratchbuild several parts for the final part.

Exhibit 1 is the starboard�s form.

Exhibit 2 is all forms of port and starboard. They are taped to get the right length.

Exhibit 3 is the template for cutting the following pieces.

Exhibit 4 is the test that I used for cutting air vents, portholes and for testing the rivets.

When you try to fit superstructures to the deck I think you will have to rebuild&repaint some pieces of deck again - Dragon has made a few errors and omissions in this area...
