That is outstanding. :thumbs_up_1: I'm a big fan of the sword boats and the story of the Andrea Gail. I visited the memorial in Gloucester over the summer.

I am pleased to know that you liked both the approach and the result. Now I will switch to one or two kitted models again before turning to a bigger scratch building subject. Hell, I might do that Typhoon fighter plane sitting in my stash.

Great idea and inspiration. I will study the idea for sure, but honestly I have just looked at what I want to build until next year's Telford show, and have to say that chances are pretty slim for an early start.
Anyway, I highly appreciate your input!

I just checked out Guido's U-217 in the Gallery. I'd say that this Andrea Gail dio is his "follow up" to that magnificent build.

I think that we're all eager to find out what Guido has planned, next.
