I prefer the medium. I find the thick too lumpy and the thin dries too fast, only really suitable for capillary joints. A bottle of medium lasts me about 6-8 weeks at �3 a bottle.

Talking glue I see model shops also offer thick , medium and thin types, which is the best for resin kits?

As I mostly work in plastic and have only made 1 resin kit in my life I wasnt sure which to buy!!!!

Do you still need info on that Fairmile D Boat as I've found another book which might just have a photo of her in!!! What was the pennant number again m8?

I buy it at carboot sales ...

They come fom the far east --has no CE printing on the cards and a spellinbg mistake on the tube--they must have imported 0000000's before they spotted the mistake--I have since seen the same make in our local 7-11 shop at � 2.69 per tube

At that price I can afford to open up a new tube for every seesion --worked for me for the last 10 years...

Though I do look a saddo buying � 50.00 worth of superglue..... thats a whole pile of carrier bags full of superglue... :rolf_3: :rolf_3:

If you a shop near you, check out the Games Workshop line of glue. They make Ca glue in varying thicknesses. Very good it is and user friendly with most resins. You will find it grips HP resin a little too quickly, but is very good with WSW, Combrig, modelkrak, WEM and Seals kits.

They also sell decent quality brushes and their paint is good if you get past the strange names they give their colours.
