It's really an excellent book.

Photos, illustrations, text and plans all equally outstanding. Truly humbling work in great proliferation; shipmodeling used to be almost all manual plans-drawing and scratchwork.

Copy in this library was purchased new just off the press in '74.

Come to think of it I can't ever remember a review of PCs book . What impresses me about Building Warship Models is all the isometric drawings by Izumi and the fold out plans , not to mention the huge number of photographs . :cool_1: :wave_1:

Whilst I was at the FAA Museum on the very last minute of the show a book seller was putting away his books and the only one remaining on the table was "Building Warship Models" by non other than PC Coker . I just could not believe my eyes. I asked the price and he said make me an offer I�m on my way home and trade has been good. It's a good job I was not drinking a coffee. I made the vendor an offer and he gave me the book. I had a smile as big as a Cheshire cat .and the new owner of the most inspirational model book ever published bar none.
