Part of the fascination and joy of scratch building is exemplified in Song's work in wood. All the pieces constructed by hand, no purchased items, all done inovatively. So much of the satisfaction is in the conquest!

Keep up the great work!

Absolutely inspirational work in what can be accomplished in wood. One comment however on the twin mounts. Both barrels, though mounted in separate trunnions have only one elevation control and can only be separated by a de clutching, which leaves the de clutched barrel immovable. This would only be done in maintaince or mount casualty situation.

Thank you for sharing your builds and techniques!

I am looking for a model ship builder named Ra Kyu Jun.
I last spoke to him back in 1982
He built great models of Korean Shipping Co Freighters like the Korean Shepard.
He was from Jeon Buk.
If anyone has any info on Ra Kyu Jun please get in touch with me at driptorch.geo@yahoo.com

Thanks

Mike

HI!Russ, I 've made 2models in same time.
It's easier than one and another.
Thank you!

Beautiful ship and splendid model :thumbs_up_1:
