Interesting concept to say the least. I seem to remember reading that the Shinano actually did go down with a load of Okha's on board.

With that massive flightdeck, I wonder if Betties could have operated from her.

Is this a scene that appears in the manga? I have only seen the anime of Zipang and it did not include anything like the Japanese producing a nuclear weapon. I very much enjoyed the anime.

Uma is my friend. I can guarantee you that his Shinano is Tamiya 1/700:)
Maybe I'll tell him to post more WIP pics.

i don't think is 1/700 scale though by the size of the chrysanthemum crest and few other things this is 1/350 or bigger, is this Doyusha's 1/250 Shinano kit? i like zipang very much too
