Perhaps a generic set of deck markings that could be used with the 1/350th Nimitz and Enterprise. The deck stripes do not need to be fitted on the sheet. They just need to be long enought to fit either ship and let the modelor cut them to the correct size at the end of the angle. The white stripes start at the fantail and go from there. Make the elevator stripes in pieces as generic rounded corners and straight parts. Cut to size for the different elevator sizes on both ships.

I used a set of the 1/350 Enterprise that Mark did some time ago and they were very nice. I am glad I got some before they sold out.

Just a few thoughts.

I also have a few of your sets if you go 1/350 wiht the new one give 3only 86 more

Love your decals have too many sets to count... I would be very interested in several sets of 1/350 CVN 68 class decal sheets so now were down to about 89 more buyers, come on guys anyone else?

For those who have been expecting them, they arrived yesterday. I have a handfull ready to ship today.

Either Yahoo or myself was undertaking updates . Causes anyone on the site at the time to experince troubles.

As to why someone would pay you for it, well in my case, (and probably plenty of others) I don't have access to a decent printer, which is getting ot be more and more of a pain the more in depth I get into these builds so may be a worthy future investment. But for the time being, I have no problem paying for decals I need, and specifically with your decals, I know beyond any doubt that what I get is going to be top notch. Seriously, your stuff I used for the 1/350 Nimitz and Truman was really great.

On a side not to the above, are you having an issue with your order page? Yesterday I tried to place an order for another one of your 1/350 CVN airwing sets, and the order page was all funky and would not let me do anything.

Now that is something I would consider. But a full blown set, I would need to have even more faith than I did for the Essex Superset I did years ago. The hold up on that is it's Patrice's Artwork used with permission. He currently gives it away for the asking to anyone who asks for it in 1/350, so why would customers buy a set when he/she can get it for free? Those markings are a sheet filler for the most part as a majority of the customers buying this sheet will be buying it for the deck markings (sorely missing from the Italeri kits, and wrong colors/sizes in the Pit Road Trumpy kits) and more accurate markings. From a business standpoint, the Italeri kits have been on store shelves in various forms and boxings since the '80s whereas the 1/350 Trumpy kit appeared only once for a limited time and very limited in it's scope (Nimitz/Ike late 70's to their first refits in the mid -80's). More folks have the Italeri kits in their stash unbuilt and can afford to pick one up ($10 or show at swap meets, $30 new) than the $100 (at a swap meet) to $200 (new) or so for a Trumpy Nimitz. A 1/350 Nimitz CVN sheet dosen't make business sense. Now a 1/350 CVN-65 set would have a much better chance. :cool_2: Just sayin'......

yeah i shell out 40.00 for a couple sets....so now were down to 94-95 more...seriously, I would purchase at least 2 sets. one for the nimitz I'm currently working on and another for future project.....

I'll take 2 or 3 in 1/350, so now ya only need 97 or 98 friends!

Are you and at least 100 of your friends willing to pay the $40 for one? If so, I'll consider it. It would be more likely to see a 1/350 CVN-65 set than a Nimitz set. You are pretty limited with the Trumpy Nimitz to the Nimitz and Ike without major conversion work to the kit. And nothing I'm aware of is in the pipeline.

Any chance we'll see this set in 1/350 scale?

I will be replacing the CVN-65 sheets with 1 comprehensive sheet. Hopefully I can add some of the cool stuff floating around as well. I'll do the others (CV-59-64, 66 & 67) if sales justify it.
