There is considerable interest regarding your 1/700 figures. Having seen the introduction photos, can you advise as to how many figures are included in these sets ?

NorthStar: I have bought several sets of 1/350 German and US crews and am very impressed. I especially enjoy your choice of unusual subjects like the US crew posing for a group photo - complete with photographer; and the crewman swabbing the deck! These are really different. Now how about a dedicated 1/48 crew set for Merit's PT boats? Maybe one set with crew at combat stations, and another set with casual, or working poses? :thumbs_up_1:

I am looking for German naval crew in summer uniform as the ship was based in Australian waters 1911-1914. My scale is 1:50

Yes please!!!!!!! USN figures in combat poses, manning the guns etc then most definitely RN figures in as many different poses as you can come up with, especially gun crews manning 20mm Oerlikon, 40mm Bofors and various light machine guns that were mounted on MGB's, MTB's etc.

All the above in 1/144th scale for me and yes I have a number of 1/350 kits as well.

Yes of course!
Good news indeed, I have a large Queen Elizabeth class battleship rapidly taking shape on the slipway which will need a crew in the not too distant future.

I noted the German and Italian retailers, will there be an agent in the UK where we can buy these? (eg. are White Ensign considering stocking them?)

German Navy of World War 2

1. Naval depot accepts the submarine. (45-50 figures) crew lined up in different sizes (from 160-180 cm), Carl Dennis and some other officers of kriegsmarine. 1/350, 1/144, 1/72 scale.

2. Submarine crew after the battle go home. Officers and captains at the deckhouse (deck cabin), the other crew lined up topside. (45-50 figures)

Also, we develop these figures:

US Navy of World War 2
1. Sailor`s and officer`s ceremonial set up (150-250 figures). Figures are in different sizes (original size from 160-185cm), all lined up. Figure of the officers who awards sailor or the other officer; figures of the persons who raises the US Flag at the boat, sailors and officers in different poses during the watch.

2. Pilots and maintenance personal of US aircraft carriers. Pacific theater of military operations. (30 figures of pilots in different poses, 150 figures of service staff, sailors and officers).

Japanese Navy of World War 2
1. Sailors and officers of Japanese imperial fleet, all ceremonial lined up.
2. Morning exercises on Japanese warship. (150-250 figures)

We have certain plans in making figures for ships of Russian-Japanese war (Japan and Russia), crew of modern Russian and American ships, Britain`s Navy of World War 2.

We plan to make different sets of figures in static poses and in action.

The above quoted text is on p.1 of this thread. It looks like NorthStar are planning sets of figures in ceremonial and action poses. Good news!

What you have is very impressive. A static display invites more observation if it offers action. I would not buy these. I want gunners, people manning the bridge, people doing maintenance, people goofing off, swabbing the deck, loading ammo belts, hoist maintenance, lookouts, pilots getting in their planes, pilots checking their planes, mechanics checking planes, crew getting a launch under way. Sorry, I buy models, I do not need these. Sorry, I do not mean to offend, I mean to help you be successful.

I've missed this thread up until now. Great looking figures! And as someone has said, there's always room for more.

One suggestion and pet peeve of mine: I was in the Navy for six years, and I stood at attention, at a railing, in my dress uniform maybe ten times during those entire ten years. And yet nearly all figures are of sailors standing at attention.

I think combat poses would be very useful, but more so would be either general work, or relaxed poses. You spend a lot of time on a ship doing minor jobs. Carrying boxes, pushing brooms and swabs, flight deck personnel pushing aircraft, etc.

What you have looks amazing so far. Can't wait to see the final products!
