Beautifully executed; a very well done model and dramatic presentation. I've always admired the [i]King George V[/i]s solid good looks. Very British to my thinking.

I do question the 5.25" QF barrel length. While these were long barreled guns, calibre 50?, these look a bit too long to my eyes. My guess is the last (outermost) sleeve is the muzzle. I don't write to offend, this is an excellent build, it's just what appears to me.

I am in awe of how clean your building abilities are. Some of the PE I've been working with in 1-350 is a bit of a pain... then there are the beautiful results you've achieved at half the size, did you use a microscope and micro surgical tools? Seriously, after seeing this I may just have to buy another Hood and start over again... nah. But very nicely done. Oh and how the F did you manage that rigging? felix3@telus.net

How on earth did you manage to produce that rigging? i build in 1/350 scale and am dreading the point when attempting to produce accurate looking rigging. Superb build and the extra detail added sure does bring the build alive. Regards Alan

Does it need some practice before attempting on a real model, or can any mistakes be un-done without harming the model.

It is a very interesting model and a good job. �Tamiya?
I would like to know the paint used for the sea and the ship.
There is a photo of Mr.Churchill aboard the Prince of Wales and does not seem the deck is in blue deck.
Mr. Kostas also has another excellent model of the KGV.

It 's simple and easy:
Step1:Wet paper towel with some water to make it fold, wate it dry
Step2:Use glue to make it hardens
Step3:Use some tamiya putty to make the undulating,just like this:

Step4:Painting(nothing to say)
Step5:Get some cotton on to the waves(here need to refer to a photo of the real sea)

But, A:KGV did not have the degaussing cable at that time (it had been removed).
B:Here the opinions are divided but the deck might have been painted dark blue instead of been left natural wood color.
