Thanks for the info. It is just recently completed bar the photo etch. I painted it as above and opted to paint 507A wooden decks as well.

There is a few orders coming your way from me with some paints, the remainder of the Raven comoflauge books that I dont have as well as the 1/350 HMS Janus. I am still deciding if I will model it as HMS Janus or change it to HMS Jupiter to complement my 1/350's HMS Prince of Wales and Repulse as of December 1941.

I manage to have a few excess KGV/POW kits I am converting to other members of the class. I am suprised how easy it is to strip them back and re paint the ones that lacked the authentic colours and configuration. I wish I found your colour coats much earlier. At least I will have other members of the class now.

That's correct, though I'm not sure about the turret tops. There is evidence that her wood decks were also painted 507A.

I have been looking through these pages before I posted (probably not hard enough) for what camouflage KG5 was wearing during Bismarck action of May 1941.

I have a few extre Tamiya 1/350 models that I am able to use and backdate to turn into KG5 and am unsure which colours to paint it is.

I believe I heard or read that it was entirely in 507B with 507A decks and turret tops but am not 100% sure.

Any help is appreciated.
