Try the Deans Marine 1:98 model at http://www.deansmarine.co.uk/

Also through model dockyard at http://www.model-dockyard.com/deans/amethyst.htm

Google will turn up many stories and photos of the incident.

You can--as others have already done--use our 1/700 or 1/350 scale models of HMS Starling to model AMETHYST. The kit contains everything you'll need except glue and paints.

What type of ship was the HMS Amethyst? I haven't heard about that one... in fact I hear a new ship name almost every week  :thumbs_up_1:

Is There A Model Kit Of The HMS Amethyst?

Just finished watching the movie the Yangtse Incident. It is about the HMS Amethyst and how she was attacked while on a peaceful mission to deliver supplies to the British Embassy during 1949. I highly recommend the movie.

It made me wonder if there was a kit out there that would cover this ship? Thanks for any info.

Regards,
