Hey guys thanks for response.

Basically do a bit at a time...and patience! I'll give it a go in my next model!

By curve, do you mean a lateral curve to fit the plan view of the deck, or a vertical curve to fit the shear? For the former, pull the rails gently between your fingers for a slight curve. For the latter, GMM has rails that curve up for sloping decks.

In either case, I put a few drops of super glue on a scrap piece of plastic and dip the bottom of one end of the rail to get it started. Then I use a toothpick dipped in glue to tack the rails every inch or so to get them in position and then use the toothpick to fill in the gaps with glue.

By working in short sections, you have time to use your finger tip to wipe off any blobs of glue that might get on the hull sides. After the glue is dry, you can touch up with paint or clear coat to remove the glue evidence.

I'm just need some advice with photoetching rails. I've done it in 1/350 scale before but in 1/700 I find it really hard to curve rails to fit 1/700 ships and glue them on using tweezers and superglue. Any advice would be great to assist me photoetching several ships I have that could need them!
I think really all it is, is you have to be really carefull and take your time . since their so thin and flexible. Just start at one end and go REALLY SLOW. LOL.
