On the Cruisers of WW2 site it is said that she had unpainted natural wood decks at her demise. Hope this helps.

Hello all

I am currently scratch building the heavy cruiser HMS Cornwall in 1/200 scale, looking ahead at the colour scheme I am uncertain as to what colour the wood decks were at the time of her loss. One source says the deck was left unpainted, but according to the plans that came with the Profile Morski book the decks were painted a dark grey! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...
