Recently I have made Humbrol Matt #148 "Radome Tan" my standard wood deck colour, although as John said it depends on Navy and in my opinion a bit on personal preference

wood is a pretty inconsistent material when it comes to colour especially when wet, salty and sun-bleached.
I usually use Humbrol or Revell paints. In the past I have also used Revell #76 and #89 for various decks.
I've also used WEM's "Teak", which is a nice deck colour. I find Humbrol's #148 comes out quite close to WEM's "Teak".
