Hey Tim - A BIG THANK YOU! :thumbs_up_1: I hope it's not inappropriate but here's a link to Flagship Models "how-to" section that you suggested; http://www.flagshipmodels.com/flagship/HowTo_CDs.html.

They seem to have a whole host of informational "how-to" videos. Again, thank you very much!

Kind Regards

No problem, Chas. I think Flagship Models might do some CDs on modelling techniques such as weathering, although I do not know if they contain videos.

Thank you very very much. This could only be made better if he did a video. I know I would line up to my the first copy!

Saw it and printed it out for my modeling notebook. However, I'm somewhat visually oriented, so I'm hoping for something with pictures.

Thanks,
Matt

Advice on painting and weathering in 1/350?

by ninjrk » Tue Dec 20, 2005 9:01 am

After years of armor and planes, I decided it was time to get back into ship modeling and am working on a Tamiya Yamato. My painting and weathering siills, such as they are, are in 1/35 and 1/48 and I have a sneaking feeling that if I paint and weather a 1/350 ship like a 1/35 tank it will look kind of like crap. Are there any good on-line articles or books that I can pick up to help me out?

Thanks,
Matt
