I made one that's smaller and cheaper, using plastic storage containers that you can get at most department stores:

I made one a few months ago using 1/4 " plywood I had laying around it's small about 2'x2'. added a small light at the top and an exhaust fan in the rear with an A/C filter. And a lazy susan out of scrap shelving. This most expensive part was the fan. That was 29.00 at Radio shack. Everything else had had laying around the garage from previous projects. Might be small but a 1/700 carrier fits real well.

Hey :thumbs_up_1: add a small fan to exhaust the over spray and fumes, and you are good to go!



Also,..I had seen one done in a smaller scale using an old microwave over.....

Very interesting. This is one of the things I like about this forum; there are a lot off good ideas thrown about.

Unfortunately, we just threw out an old dishwasher not too long ago, but I do have a small refrigerator that does not work sitting in my garage. It already has a working light, so that may work. I will check this out and post a reply, but it may be a while. I don't even have an airbrush yet...

Saw this over the weekend. Thought some may like to see it. I am sure that you could use this and add some vent vans etc. If I find a broken dishwasher on Craiglist or something I may do this.
