From that review, there are three errors in this update set:
1. The funnels are simply copies of the plastic kit's, and thus the sizing error is replicated.As noted above, although there is a size difference on the real ship, it was nowhere as much as what's been depicted in the kit and the Flyhawk set.
2. There is no fix for the placement of the centre barrel of the 6" guns. The only non-scratchbuild option remains the 3D printed cradle on Shapeways, made by forum member PiperMat:
