You may also try to use industry thinner for acrylit paint. The best I tried is debonder for super glue. Can be purchased in many modellers shops.

if the pE is separate from any kit part, just hole the pe part in a pair of tweezers and run it throught the flame of a candle a couple times. the CA glue should burn away and leave the pe unharmed.
