I doubt she'd approve of a cake shaped like an aircraft carrier though...

I bought a similar one for my son about 20 years ago. It was not as well designed as yours.

At work, I recently completed a book for Scholastic Publishing that contains a paper model of CVN-75 USS Harry S Truman. The first third of the book is editorial and the rest is the paper model on card stock. It builds up to be 24" long.

I did all the engineering for the die cuts and folds (no glue required) as well as the deco.
