just noticed this thread I bought each one on a sea base and then in a little acrylic box with a printed sky back ground just one note us ships had blue decks :big_grin:

For a number of years I really got hooked on 1/2400 scale warships, mostly from GHQ (since they had the best quality). Initially I simply painted them grey but after a while I got adventuresome and decided to try detail painting one. Fortunately my eye sight was excellent at the time and I was quite pleased with the results so I jumped in and began painting them all.

Purists will be quick to point out the liberties I took with barrel colors and AA guns but at such a small scale, contrast is the name of the game. With that in mind I beg to be cut a little slack. :smallsmile:
