I just got them and have not messed with them, I do not want to mess them up. Looking at them all the pcs. look very weak and flimsy. So I guess the blades are thick enough by themselves then, thanks! I also was wondering about the landing gears and wheels, do you use them with the original ones or replace them all together? I do not know if they are strong enough as well. And on the SH-3 sea king I guess I drill and file out the rear door as well? Sorry for all these ??s and thanks again!

Generally PE parts either replace or accent plastic parts unless otherwise specified. In my opinion the PE rotor blades for the helos are FAR better than any thing in Plastic. The PE ones also allow for realistic droop in the blades when they're stationary. Something not so easily obtained in plastic.

What parts in particular do you need help installing?

I just got a white ensign photoetched detail set part 2 the air group, What is the advantage of this kit and should it only be used on unmade planes, do these new pcs. glue to the pcs.? the instructions are not real clear. I can tell that putting air brakes & flaps out will look good but the copter blades seem like a waste. does anyone know of a post or something that shows better instructions and such.

Thanks
Jerry
