Your Enterprise looks great and is something to be proud of! :wave_1:

I'd also suggest you wrap up the last details, put her on display and and start a new project.

If you are feeling ambitious and need to visit detail heaven, you could tackle the 1/200 scale Hornet. There are aftermarket detail sets in the works for this kit... :nod_2:

Thank You :wave_1: I want to do the Hornet next with the B-25 Doolittle raid on it next. I am trying to come up with a good pts. list first and order all of it at once.

welcome welcome :wave_1: , and thank you for sharing.
Since the ship is pretty much painted and done I'd suggest, either buy another kit (same one) and see if you can go all out on that one, then you can have these 2 for comparison, or start fresh on a new carrier like the Nimitz. If you want to re do detail on this stage, you really must be prepared to destroy quite a bit and build some of it from scratch. (BTW - I love your'e hull color and rust effect)

:newbie: Photos of my first model, :thumbs_up_1: I made the arrester cables really work by hooking rubber bands and even put split shot sinkers under the deck so if the bands ever do break it still works by gravity. I used some 1/46 OZ. split shots for the plane's nose weights, I drilled a small hole in the bottom nose of the hawkeyes and for the EA-6B @ S-3A I cut them in 1/2 and the pcs. fit right in the slot on the bottoms, worked real easy. I just got a detail set for the planes so I hope it will come out good :woo_hoo: . Wish I would have known about the hand-rail kit sooner :mad_1: Still working on it. Does anyone else have some nice tricks or detailing that will help mine as well??? :thanks:
