Thanks Heinkel51 - better late than never! Sorry not to have replied earlier but have been abroad for a couple of weeks.

Since my original post I have managed to obtain a copy of the 1883 RN handbook for the one-inch Nordenfelt. This is a reprint published in the UK by:

D.P. & G. Military Publishers, PO Box 186, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN4 0HN.

I would thoroughly recommend them for their prompt and efficient service.

Rick

Maybe a bit late but can provide a side and top section drawing of a Nordonfelt 1" 4 barrell if required.

Cheers Heinkel51

Thanks Mike, I was aware of HAT's plans. I assume from the details given that the gun will be on the wheeled carriage. Might get away with it size-wise, but would like to get hold of a plan if possible.

Hi Rick
All I can tell you is that Hat - plastic soldier producers - plan to do some in 1:72 at some point. Don't know when they will be out but may be of some use.

Nordenfelt Guns

I need to build four 1/96 four-barreled 1-inch Nordenfelt guns (OK - if I've lost you already, stop reading now!) for my model of HMVS Cerberus.

It would be really great if someone knew a source of these ready-made, but even the location of suitable plans would be a bonus. All I have so far is some catalogue illustrations and photgraphs.

Thanks

Rick
