It is amazing how we have different words for the same thing, and we allegedly share a language! As Winston said....

I have seen the WE photoetched items, and want to stay away from PE for these, if I can. I bought the Corsair Armada items from White Ensign. They are meant for larger ships, unfortunately.

Thanks!

Don

Hi Don, I assume you mean closed fairleads by saying chocks? Try whiteensignmodels.com the have a myriad of resin and PE fittings and other items for smaller scales.

Chocks

Does anyone know of a source for 1/350 Destroyer//Destroyer Escort sized chocks?

I removed the chocks from my Trumpeter England kit, thinking to replace them with the ones from Corsair Armada. The site I ordered them from did not mention that they were intended for battleships and carriers. They arrived, and they look great, but they are way too big.

My first thought was to use the ones from the Gold Medal PE set as templates to carve some from .030 plastic card. It works, but I need a bunch of the danged things!

Any suggestions welcome!

Thanks,

Don
