It is the last day for the Group Build. Please continue with your builds and post your work in a WIP thread. Thanks for your participation and I hope you had a good summer. I might do a "Carry On" group build over the winter for carriers if I get enough interest.

Good work PG, one sweet looking build! My Yahagi will not be completed in time, but it is close a few photos in the build thread are forthcoming.

We are going to the end of September so a few days left to try and finish, if not, carry on into fall and finish the project anyway! Good job everyone!

I am a failure. I did barely anything to my [i]Mikuma[/i] and haven't had the motivation to do more.

Good work everyone who posted the past month. One month left! Summer has flown by, for me anyway. I'm hoping to be done with my Yahagi before the end of the month. I'm on the fitting out stage anyway.

How is everyone else progressing?

My Yahagi progressed a little, with work, ooh shiny syndrome and pinging a part, she came to a halt. Hope to figure a replacement for the pinged part and resume full bore construction soon. Great job to everyone else so far. I will add a few shots of where she is at on her thread.

Another month gone. Time for a check in on progress. My Yahagi is progressing nicely. Hoping to be done by mid September.

Another month gone. Slow going for me but some more details added and the flight deck is about done, will post more photos in a week. There is no need to rush a build, this group build is just to encourage everyone keeping modeling! Great job everyone so far!

Good news: found ALL my spare PE for the Maine. I was shocked that it somehow ended up in a Tamiya Bismarck box. Heh. Moving.

Anyway, I'll get cracking on repairing and finishing the Maine once I'm done with Fletcher.

Yes, will join with a Trumpeter 1:700 Bismarck. Just testpainted the deck a while ago and assembled 2 gun turrets. Awaiting now a PE set from Eduard, then I will start the build! :thumbs_up_1: :smallsmile:

I have gotten more work done on Indianapolis. I will try to get photos up this weekend. I have both the upper and lower hull painted, along with the main deck.

up to my pits with work, working projects for nationals and working on the nationals committee for the make-n-take, Louisville is complete but IIRC requires a little touch up for presentation.

Hey, sorry, been pretty busy with work and planning a move. Will try to get started on my Prinz Eugen this week tho.

I have to confess I've not put in any further time on my Mikuma. I'll start up a thread once I do, though.
