Oh wow, total, total brain fart on my part - I was looking at Iowa. :Mad_6: :censored_2: :Oops_1:

Vlad, you can't embed the Navsource images, but you can add them as links.

According to shipcamouflage.com she was in Ms 21 from build until 1945.

*** EDIT***

Apologies for embedding the NavSource images. In any case Timmy got there before me and I think the issue has been cleared up.

1944? http://www.navsource.org/archives/01/62d.htm
e.g. http://www.navsource.org/archives/01/016226.jpg

And tired early 1945: http://www.navsource.org/archives/01/016209.jpg

And actually I don't see any MS 32 dazzle on any of the pages =/

I can't find any photographic evidence on Navsource, but that's not 100% proof.

I don't have any of the official documents, but based on what I've seen on her Navsource pages my believe is that she was launched and commissioned in Measure 13, but was repainted in Measure 22 by the time of her shake-down cruise. The decks appear unpainted during the shakedown, which is a nice change from typical wartime deck blue. At the end of 1943 she was painted into Measure 32, but I don't have the design sheet for that scheme to be 100% on the colors.

She repainted back into Measure 22 in 1945, but received other modifications such as the enclosed bridge at this time, that makes the Trumpeter Iowa less suited for this build.

Hello, looking on painting the USS New Jersey WWII version and want to know the colors on her. Are there any good references on the internet? I googled it and came up empty with getting any answers to my question. Preferred colors would be between 1942 -1945, not sure if she changed colors in that 3 year span.

What about her decking, was the teak light, dark etc....

Thanks to all that reply :wave_1:
