This is the book I am reading at moment, By Tom Chaffin, for the third time. The book has a few pictures and lots of detailed information about the Raider, and other boats as well. Great book to read.

CSS Shenandoah / Sea of Gray, The Voyage lasted from Oct 1864 to Nov 1865.

AKA (Sea King)

Built by Messer Stephens and Sons in Glasgow 1863. All Iron frames, Beams, Stringers and planked with East India Teak. 140 horse power, tubular boilers and lifting screw. Dimensions - Length 220 feet, breadth 32.5 feet, depth 20.5 feet. Sold by Auction 22 March 1866.

Aug 2nd, After the Arctic Voyage, the Shenandoah encounter the Barracouta, That's when the Raider was decomissioned. The voyage ended 6 Nov 1865.
