I don't know how many are aware of it, but this years reunion for the USS Oriskany was held at the Combat Air Museum in Topeka, Kansas. The reason why it was held there is that they just completed construction of a beautifully made, extremely large scale model of the USS Oriskany after months of work and it was dedicated at the reunion. Here is a link to the museum where you can see some photos of this awsome model. I'm also attaching a photo taken at the reunion so you can get a sense of the size of this beauty.

I don't know the exact scale of the model but this shot taken by a buddy of mine at the reunion should give you an idea.
