Hi,

Since I have photos of this project spread on multiple topics of this Forum, I decided to create this topic specif for the building process of this model: the HDMS Absalon L16 - Combat Support Ship of the Royal Danish Navy.

This model is produced by NNT Modells at 1/700 scale, and it's probable the best ever kit in resin I ever built!
A more detailed review of this model is available here:
http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/sh ... eview.html

After spending 18 hours, this was how the model looked at the time:

And few more hours later....

At this stage, and after a few modifications on the original kit, it was ready to apply the decals:

Now, with the decals already in place:

I used to use 0,3mm string from my grand piano to represent the antennas but I wasn't satisfied with the result.
Instead, I used a 0,12mm harpsichord string, and I think it looks much better!

Thanks.
Regards,
Ayala Botto
