I think it turned out extremely well, particularly for a first effort. Well done.

I think that you should be very proud of what you've built - especially considering it's your fist one. Nicely done.

Hi there,
Here is my first attempt of building a model (a part from building some models as toys when I was young, no PE, no paint etc, just built straight out of the box). So this ship can be called an experimental ship that I have tested several techniques I learnt from the forum and internet, such as the first time of painting a model, the first time of playing with PE parts, the first time of using putty, the first time of stretching sprue, the first time of rigging... There were so many problems I have never realised before I start building this ship. However, I have finally completed this ship and I am happy with the outcome.

The reason why I chose Dragon's Sovremenny as my first ship is quite simple, I like the shape of this ship in real world and this model also comes with a PE fret. I have never dealt with PE parts before and I don't want to pay some extra cost to buy a separate PE set and ruined it because of lack of experience. So this ship could be a perfect chance for me to play with PE part, even if I can't handle the PE parts, I can still use the plastic parts to finish this ship.

Now here is the completed ship, hope you like it.
