advantage of a larger scale goes beyond ease of construction, they can be more accurate, and more intricate. I had to ignore many support pieces in 1:700 since they would had been too small to position, and line widths are often exaggerated to obtain necessary material strength.
As said, area (of the etch) and price can be of concern, but they do carry some value when one considered size of the model. Stuff like YD-25 would also had looked rather impressive standing alone, I'd think
Cool. Will they be all PE like the 1/700 versions, or will resin be introduced for some components? In 1/700 making the crane's parts all in PE makes sense, but in 1/350 some parts might be better off in resin especially if its large solid shape.
