A 1/700
Okinoshima arrived in todays post.

The result of Wiki-searching it for some reason. Immediately it was impressive how the IJN expanded
Okinoshima's capabilities beyond the original design mission. Truly a versatile ship with a variety of missions. Almost smacks of SpecOps in some of the ways it was employed. So it moved to the head of my wish-list real quick. That, and it can serve as interim flagship for the sea mule destroyer flotilla. At least until a
Nagara can be acquired.
For now, regrettably, it goes into the stash. Need to build at least one more destroyer (for two total) until flotilla command is needed. Minelaying in my South Pacific will have to wait for a while as well.

Cheers.
