Yes, exactly, too small to print in small scales (I designed it originally as a separate piece). Another consideration is that acrylic plastic is quite brittle. In small scales, the shackle would likely not survive much handling frustrating the modeler who paid for it. I think another medium might be better (stronger), say stretched sprue or wire.
If you think it's a necessary feature, I can include one for the larger scales.
Thoughts?
