Luckily for me, I have the full size drawings for Victorious, in 1/96 scale, so this will be less of a headache, once I start on this project.

It looks like the hardest part is done now. The head ache is going to be finding out what you need for fittings.

here 2 more as i have posted on the forum this is why i want to stop and get back to the build lack of drawings for this area but for my first aircraft carrier i think its pretty good let me know what you guys think cheers matt

hello this is the new update with prop shafts in place i went to our hardware over here call bunnings and got a red close to norfolk navy red i think it looks good.still a glossy because it is still wet when i took these photos 5 mins ago.have a good night guys cheers matt

They look okay Matt, Just one thing to remember though, If you are going to make it for Radio Control, that you have enough clearance for the motors, inside the hull. The outside shafts, must not be too close to the sides, otherwise, your motors will not fit in.
Looking at the photos, it is hard to tell whether there is enough clearance, on the outside shafts. Photos can be deceiving. Not a critisism, just trying to help.

hello i have put the shaft brackets on.i had only the profile and a crap photo of her in drydock.i hope they look ok and alined.if not please let me know.i have these 3 photos.cheers matt

model i am trying to fix the shaft and bossings on the bloody thing.i think i have got it once the glue has dried i will see if it worked and post a image here later tonite.but i think i have it.

cool:)its summer here like 30 on days and 80-90%humidity which i hate with a passion.i belive winter in the uk was cold this year?let hope all works with the sub.hey you dont want to surface and theres someone vessel about be embarrasing

There are not many swimming pools that will allow you to run them, because of oil from the shafts. I much prefer our lake, looks better too, especially when there are other ships sailing.
This is the best time of the year to run sub's ( our winter) because of the weed problem. There is hardly any weed present at this time of year, and the clump I tangled with was some loose stuff, which was just floating below the surface.
