If it doesn't motivate you to build this kit as a special ops sub I don't know what will. Also reading the book will give you an idea of the changes that occurred to the sub over her years of service in this role.

Should be a fun kit to build.

One of the best books I have ever read. The author was effectively giving away secrets of the silent service by writing this book and was ostracized for it.

I found out the DSRV is actually a dummy. In reality it's a decompression chamber for the special ops guys.

Mine arrived today; it was one I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't get when I could. It's one of those "you have to see it in person to believe it" kits, but the review gives you an excellent idea what to expect.
