Issue 2 of the new series is now available here: http://payhip.com/b/NP3m The plan content of this issue is the refrigerated cargo liner Rippingham Grange, of 1943, and the "flatiron" collier Mitcham, of 1946.

Following the publication of Issue Nr. 9, I decided to start a new series at Nr1 with the pages consecutive from then on, thus allowing me to index further issues more easily. Series 2, Nr 1 was made available yesterday. Each issue contains a general arrangement plan of a merchant ship. In this issue, the plan is the MacBraynes coastal passengher ship of 1934. The cost remains at 1.49 per issue, less than the price of a cup of coffee. A Paypal button for that amount is included in the synopsis via this link http://payhip.com/b/KSfy There is no naval content in any of these downloads, unless they are connected with merchant shipping. At one stage, I gave up on them, as there seemed to be so little interest, but with a gradually increasing interest on a world-wide scale, I decided to carry on, at least for a while.

I have now indexed the first six issues. The index is available here: https://payhip.com/b/0IVe Free of Charge. It is three pages in length, and the first part lists all the articles and notes, whilst the second part lists all the images, including plans.

I finally managed to purchase them all as until recently payhip and my computer were no friends. Very nice articles. I may even build one or two ships form your plans in my own (balsa/styrene '700) style.

Thanks Robbie, this last one is moving very well now, and the style has evolved quite a lot from the first issue. Even seeing some very good "first time" miniatures being produced.

Calabar.JPG
Two more issues have been made available since the above. Both carry a nominal charge of 1.49 on account of taking between 7 and 8 hours to write.
2nd issue link: http://payhip.com/b/mMQw Contains General arrangement plans of Calabar and the American brigantine Mary Celeste.
3rd issue link: http://payhip.com/b/YH3s Contains General arrangement plan of Stella Polaris.
Calabar was a small Elder Dempster passenger liner.
Stella Polaris was a Norwegian cruising yacht.
The models of these ships are shown above and below.
Clicking the above links does not commit you to purchase, but allows you to read the synopsis. Then, if you wish to purchase a download, a Paypal button is provided in the synopsis.
Apart from the first issue (free), these have been a bit of a "damp squib," and it is unlikly that I will produce any more in the immediate future, but the first three will remain available.

This is a free download of 15 pages. It is of a general nature concerning model shipbuilding, and the merchant navy. Including plans and building details for a miniature model of the diesel tug S.A. Everard.
