"She was based in Gosport in 1967/68 as I was the LREM from Oct to June 68. We were used to take the new entries from HMS St Vincent out,usually day running but on occasion to Poole and we did one trip to Guernsey.Memorable in that due to rough weather we could not return on time.
The crew were asked to loan cash to the skipper and a couple of us had to go shopping for victuals for the crew and lads from St V.
Many happy memories of a great draft."
