I should make a thread. Got the kit a week and a half ago.
Haven't really done anything to it yet.

Nice. That late war Idaho with the single 5in guns is really cool. Send in some photos when you are done, or start a work in progress thread over in the picture post forum

If you plan on building Iron Shipwright's new 1/350 USS Idaho kit, this set is a must have.
The detail is excellent. There are 10 dual purpose single mount 5"/38 Mark 30 secondary turrets. 6 of the double knuckle and 4 of the single knuckle variety.
The access hatches, panels, blast hood and even the circlular discharge chute for spent 5 inch shell casings are well defined.
The set is without the gun barrels and is depicted without blast bags. The brass gun barrels augments this set perfectly and are sold separately. I used Master Models brass barrels on my set.
