Mostly ships of the Roman and Byzantine periods, from all countries known to these two empires. Mostly their own ships, but also ships they might have encountered on the seas.

Sounds interesting! Unfortunately I know next to nothing about 3D modelling, though a little bit about Greek and Roman naval affairs. It would really be great to see a good kit one day of an ancient warship (heck, I'd settle for a fair one....).

If I may ask, do you work more with Mediterranean or with non-Mediterranean stuff?

Hey, you might like to meet Jorit, who also has a thing for the old stuff.

Hi everyone,

I am since a good 25 years in the field of maritime archeology, and would like to offer my assistance and expertise to everyone who is developing 3D models of ancient Roman and Byzantine ships. I feel sad that there are no 3D models out which are free of major faults. I want to change that.
