Hello to all ship model builders.
following the completion of "PLOTARCHIS BLESSAS" PBFA I started work on my next project.
The "PANAGOPOULOS" Class fast coastal patrol craft is a very strange little vessel.
Here is a very useful link to the class:

Since the requirement was for a model of a specific length (38cm) the scale was an odd one :1/60,5
There is (as expected :( ) no kit availlable for this ship.
Luckily, I was able to visit the decomissioned sister ship PANAGOPOULOS II, so I took a few photos to help me.
The method I chose was my usual and tested one: balsa keel+frames, fill the spaces with expanded polystyrene (from packaging material), sand down, clad the hull with polystyrene sheet. The superstructure was built with poly sheet as well. Details made from various materials.
Here are some photos of the finished model.
I hope that during the following weeks I will be able to post some more of my completed projects and then begin an on-line build of my current project.
Bye for now.
