You can sometimes find basic general arrangement plans on companies' websites - else, try emailing their PR department and they may be willing to send them to you.

Start here http://archive.org/search.php?query=Pac ... e%20review then search the Hathi web site and Google for Marine engineering/log and International marine engineering. Theyhave plans that can be used. These are trade magazines that have been bound then scanned onto these sites. They are all out of copywrite so are free to use.
I'll try to attach a file of a ship that I may try to build at some time

Where to find civilian cargo/container/tanker ships plan?

Hi to all,

I'm a new registered member, even though I've been reading this forum for a couple years now. I've been building models for a couple decades now, mainly aircrafts and cars. My first ship wasn't a great success (I think the 700 scale is kind of too small for me...)

Anyways... I'd like to find plans to build civilian cargos (bulk cargo, tankers, containership, etc). I did search in this forum, google, but didn't find anything worthy so far... Sorry if it was obvious and I missed it... I don't mean to be spoon feeded by asking, but since I can't find what I'm looking, well... I'm asking :)

Any help will be appreciated :)
