He also mentiones that Shimakaze landed her X-turret! Anyway, I think they are quite impressive and the linedrawings far better than Whitley. Actually, seems to be faaaar better than Whitley....

I just picked up Harald Fock's Z-vor! Internationale Entwicklung und Kriegseinsaetz von Zestroerern und Torpedobooten 1914-1939, and part II: 1940-1945 for 10 EUR each. From a quick scan it seems very comprehensive, but mr. Fock does get the spelling of 'Kortenaer' wrong! What's the opinion on these books out here?
