Hey guys, at the moment I'm working on my IJN river gunboats Katata and Suma. I was wondering what the correct colour of those ships was during WW2!?
The instructions of Katata (Aoshima) call for IJN dark grey, but all pictures of Japanese river gunboats (and even the kit's box art) show them in a very light grey or even white. Where they painted darker after the outbreak of WW2 or is this just a mistake in the instructions?
This would be really good to know as I have a couple more GBs to build...
