Thanks to the wonders of 3D-printing, we now have the Russian/Soviet
Boris Chilikin replenishment oiler available from the
Shapeways vendor "Amateur Wargame Figures".
It is available in
1/700, not to mention the wargaming scale of
1/2400. (embedded Shapeways links in highlighted text)
As of this posting, at least 3 of this class of 6 are still in service, and would be a wonderful addition to a Soviet-era fleet, especially if one wants to make a RAS/UNREP scene where an AOR is refuelling capital ships like the
Kirov class battlecruisers.
