Or larger magnifiers and thinner sharp pointed tweezers.

Or custom tweaked placement tools like a dental probe witha tiny gob of sticky on the end.

As a last resort, of course, there's always 1/200... :Mad_6:

Thanks for the advice, its not so much the gluing that is the problem its the getting of the tiny parts in the correct place without them looking wonky! i find handling these parts with tweezers almost impossible!!

I'm building my second ship model at this time, my first with photoetch, so I'm not an expert. But I sympathize...cripes that 1/700 scale PE is friggin' tiny!

I just bought a Hold 'n' Fold, and I think it's made a world of difference, as it's allowed me to more carefully and precisely bend the parts. Of course applying them takes a steady hand and practice. I have much to learn!

If you mean assembling PE parts together, try this: Get some CA accelerator, also known as "Zip Kicker" (at least here in the US). Brush the accelerator onto one of the PE parts. Put the parts together. Take a bit of CA glue on the tip of an Xacto blade (or something similar) and apply it to the joint where the parts meet. If it works right (and it does most of the time for me), you should get an instant bond.
